Can I use the speaker option to text a message from Canada to the Philippines for free?


On the free international texting plan but want to use speaker to enter text message

What do you mean by using the speaker, Carl? Are you talking about dictating your message to your phone and then text it? If so, it shouldn't make any difference... texting is texting no matter how you input it 🙂 But if you meant something else, please clarify 😃

If your using an Android device that runs Android version below 4.0 than using the voice to text dictation feature uses data or a wifi connection to function. On devices running Android 4.0 and higher dictation is processed within the device and will not use data or a wifi connection. The data that is used during this process with devices running below Android 4.0 is chargeable data.

Phones are devices you'll ask them to type wrong spelled word or not pronounced properly it'll type garbage and you get unreadable message
