Can I still use my phone ?


Hello. I purchased a phone on a tab with Koodo a couple years ago. Shortly after, I lost my job and I was unable to keep up with the bills. As my cell phone was not my main priority at the time I let the bill go into collections. Fortunately, my financial situation improved however it was bit too late for this specific contract. I did take a settlement with a third party and the account was closed as a settlement. I am wondering if I can still use the phone itself as a prepaid phone ? Or if Koodo made it so it cannot be used again? Thank you !

Hi Ellen, you should be able to use the phone I don't believe Koodo blacklists phones for non payment they just go after you for the money.
