black screen with Netflix


Hello, my TLC 10 pro has a black screen when playing Netflix. Audio is fine but no picture. All software is up to date on the phone, any ideas?

Hi,

I don't know.   Maybe try a reset to factory  settings.

Just a guess.  A koodo fan!

So I assumed the screen was working normally with other apps and system?

Netflix actually identified it as their issue, and had a troubleshooting guide. You can find it here https://help.netflix.com/en/node/11634

 

Issue is fixed. Apparently the phone just had to go through a second update the next day and it's all good now. For anyone else with this issue I did have to manually check for the second update .
