BEWARE: Double-check your purchases from kiosks before you leave.

Went to Yorkdale kiosk, told them I needed a pre-paid micro sim card. Came home, tried to activate, turns out they sold me a monthly sim card. No offer to replace it, refund me, credit my account - the only suggestion customer service had was to go back to the kiosk and return it. 2 hours away. THANKS KOODO!

Sounds like a case of human error. It happens and it sucks! It is also unfortunate that you are 2 hours away from a kiosk. Even though Koodo did not offer anything to you, have you tried asking for a credit/refund since you are so far from a kiosk? It can be tricky giving you a credit since you do not have a monthly account with Koodo in which you could be credited. In the mean time, you can purchase a prepaid sim online on the Koodo site. https://shop.koodomobile.com/phones/accessories/index.html

That sucks a lot. Maybe it could be possible to go back and explain what happened and the error the employee made?

Yorkdale is 2 hours away from you? Call the shop, if they are good they will mail you one.

Where do you live that York Dale is 2 hours away from you? I bet there's something closer. Either way that is unfortunate but they really should offer you to exchange it since you never activated the first one.
