Base plan says expired


My base plan was supposed to expire at the end of today I topped up with a voucher all was good but then I went and changed my number for reasons in self serve now it says my base plan has expired it shows new number in place of old one and shows the money I put to top up why has it already expired and not renewed yet please help

This could be a glitch in Koodo system. I would suggest you contact Koodo directly (call of facebook) and ask them to fix it.
Thought perhaps as I changed my number I screwed it up somehow it's still saying expired what do you mean call of Facebook??? Also usually if it does expire there's a box and in red says base plan expired account will deactivate soon this it just says in plain red letters base plan expired

Oops, it was a typo of mine (call or facebook). You can call 611 or send message to koodo facebook to ask them to check on your account.

Do I go to the koodo Facebook page is that what you mean then send a personal message

The wait time reportedly is long though, both for calling and messaging with facebook.

I went to Facebook page to leave a message on messenger it says they are away I left a message so I don't know and not sure what you mean by calling in Facebook sorry not tech savvy unfortunately

As I mentioned, wait time is long and that wasn't a live chat that you can get the answer right away.

To connect with Koodo through phone, you could dial 611 from your handset (might not work if your number was disconnected) or you could call them at 1 (866) 995-6636

Thanks so mucb i was able to contact someone and all is good should go through by morning and ny account is still active

If you see a balance on the Overview page, do not add anymore money. The system has been known to process manual payment a little slower after regular business hours. A trick that I use is to keep enough of a balance to cover next months' baseplan renewal. This way when it comes time for renewal, the system can apply the funds at any time on that date. Also, the phone number change didn't screw anything up.

The system will eventually 'see' the funds later this evening or tomorrow morning and apply it to your baseplan. Unfortunately,  there isn't an exact timeline as to when this will occur. Payment could go through after midnight or later tomorrow morning, usually between the hours of 6 and 8:00 a.m. Hopefully sooner than later.
