After a software update to  ok3 (kdo) on my Note 4 Car Mode gives a server error on every voice command

Restart the phone, check the play store to see if any updates are available. Make sure data is turned ON
Did all that and a factory reset as well. Data is on as Web browser works on cell network. S-voice also works just not in Car Mode

Is this an app you downloaded or built into the phone?

It's a Samsung built-in app. It was working fine on 5.0.1 and 5.1.1 but stopped when Koodo software update installed last week. I'm not sure if that was a security update or what. Can't find any info on it. Samsung suggested the factory reset but it didn't make a difference.

This is just typical Samsung update issues. No fix for this until a new update gets pushed through. Unfortunately Koodo cannot fix this issue

same problem on TELUS in Canada last Friday to. factory reset didin fix.. hours on phone with tech support for both Samsung and Telus ..
A new possible development. There was an update for the main Google App this morning. I noticed that there were a lot of people complaining that there voice search (ok google) stopped working in the ratings The new update apparently fixes this (never stopped working for me, only had issue with Car Mode) I updated the Google app and restarted my phone. Car mode is now working again. The woman's voice is different, but all works. I'm wondering if the Google app has always been the issue since the new 5.1.1. Update.

For reference, Note 4, 5.1.1. Telus Canada.
