accessing the network


I bought a prepaid plan, activated it, and signed on to self serve account some hours ago. I have a Asus Zenfone 3Max. I am trying to access the Koodo network. Using "cellular networks" I see the available networks and choose Koobo 4G. and get the answer "Can't connect to this network right now". What do I do now? Wait a few more hours?

Depending on the submodel you have some will not work with Koodo's network

If you purchased it here, then it should work.
I appreciate the help from the "Community" but Telus/Koobo should provide a much more comprehensive set of instructions for activation.

Rebooting the mobile phone worked to the extent that I can now call out. However, when I try to phone the mobile from a land line I get the message number not in service. What to do now??

It looks like there could be an issue with your activation.  Please send Koodo a private message on Facebook or twitter and someone from Koodo can look further into your account.

Did you port a number in from another carrier?
